Without changing the company's basic policy of making everyone able to dance salsa better and more enjoyably, we have devised a method to improve social dancing, the foundation of salsa!!
The basis of Salsa is "social dancing" through improvisation. This ability is very important when performing in performances and shows later on. Also, many people dance Salsa without digging too deep, but the more you study, the wider your range of expression will be and the more fun you will be able to dance.
In the new system, the levels will be divided into two stages. The first class is "Beginners Salsa Class" where you will learn the basic steps and variations of salsa, as well as how to count, improvise, and other basic skills necessary to advance to the next level, thus "preparing to learn salsa dance."
After completing these classes, you will join the "Master Class". In this class, you will learn various steps and techniques used in social salsa based on the basic routines learned in Beginner Salsa Class, and train to use them in improvisation. In addition, you will learn the history and musical composition of salsa, as well as deeper techniques and ways of feeling the music to dance more comfortably and coolly, with the goal of reaching a level where you can dance social dancing coolly.
You will learn the basics of salsa by developing the basic content you have learned, so you will have a deeper understanding of salsa when doing the next level variation. Ultimately, you will be able to interpret any technique with your technique, and you will be able to express yourself more by having more freedom in your dancing.

●What is Beginners Salsa Class?
You will learn the most fundamental aspects of the HIDE & PEKO Dance Company method.
At our company, we believe that the basis of all salsa dancing is improvisational "social dance". The goal of this class is to "learn the most basic content of salsa dancing and become able to dance it well" in order to be able to do social dancing, and to be able to understand salsa dancing more efficiently and deeply in the future.
There are many variations in Salsa, both in shine and pairs, but there are basic steps and variations that form the base, and complex variations are created based on these techniques. In this class, we will pick out basic steps, variations, and techniques and master them.
Here you will learn the bare minimum required to dance Social Dance, practice improvisation and counting correctly, and prepare to be able to dance Social Dance faster and more efficiently as you move on to higher levels.

●What you will learn in your first salsa class and how to proceed
<Isolation Training>
When learning salsa, we will do isolation (movements that move one part of the body) and movement, and because building up your body is also important for dancing happily, we will do simple training that will help you move more effectively using your body. It takes time to master, so let's practice a little at a time from the beginning!
<Variations & Improvisation Practice>
We will learn some basic variations of Salsa each time, and at the end of the class we will practice dancing a lot so that we can master it on the day. Also, once you get used to it, you will practice dancing by improvising and rearranging the order of the variations.
<Basic Techniques>
You will learn all the basic steps and variations, how to step, how to use your body, and techniques, and you will be able to apply them to shine steps (steps danced alone) and pair work variations. If you can do the basic techniques in this class, all the variations will also use those techniques, so it will be easier to understand even if you go to a higher class, so let's learn them here!
We will also practice counting, which is important in Salsa, so that you can accurately capture the notes.
Beginners Salsa Class!
After taking your first salsa class and becoming able to dance the basic variations of salsa, you can move on to the Master Class to learn more variations and knowledge and become able to dance a cool social song !!
What is Master Class?
In the first salsa class, we learned the basics of salsa, but salsa songs are often 3 to 5 minutes long, and in order to enjoy dancing salsa, we need more shines and pair work variations. Also, salsa is actually a broader and deeper dance.
In this Master Class, we will learn more variations of shines and pair work based on what we learned in the first salsa class, and aim to be able to enjoy a salsa song. We will also train you to apply the basic techniques you learned and dance comfortably and coolly.
Once you become more familiar with the dance, you will begin to learn more about salsa, including its history, musical composition, and the range of techniques to suit different dance styles, so that you can dance to a wider variety of people, at a variety of events, and with different music.
What you will learn in the basic class and how to proceed
<Isolation Training>
In the basic class, we have been practicing isolation and movement individually, so this time we will practice how to use them in combination with various steps. We will also practice how to use them as styling during pair work.
We also practice basic movements to improve them, and apply them in variations of steps and pair work, aiming to become cool dancers.
<Variations & Improvisation Practice>
We will apply the content of the basic class, pick up content that can be used in social situations, and learn and practice more variations so that we can dance well. We will also regularly practice improvisation to output what we have learned so that we can dance a whole song.
<Musicality>
At HIDE & PEKO Dance Company, we believe that music is very important in Salsa. We teach the necessary musical knowledge to dance Salsa better and the techniques to use it. Specifically, we help students understand and master the contents of "Understanding the composition of Salsa music and dancing to each one," "Understanding the genre of Salsa music and dancing to it," and "Making effective use of bridges and sound developments."
<Turn Trick Training>
As you become more advanced, Salsa is characterized by the fact that both the leader and the follower make many turns. Some dancers also incorporate simple tricks such as dips. These are more technical, so we will train you to be able to handle them.
Salsa Master Class
In addition, at the Master Class level, you will have mastered the basic Salsa techniques necessary for performance, which will enable you to participate in a team more effectively, so we recommend that those hoping to perform take these classes as well.
