"Afro-Cuban" is an essential part of HIDE & PEKO's salsa style, and is always a popular request.
This time, we'll incorporate the essence of Afro-Cuban into Salsa Shine and practice dancing coolly!

Afro-Cuban is a dance that is an even greater ancestor of Rumba, which is said to be the father of salsa. Originally a religious dance that represented the gods of the Cuban religion "Santeria," in recent years it has become more casual and, due to the coolness of the dance, has often been incorporated into salsa.
Because the musical roots are similar, it has a strong affinity with salsa, so be sure to learn how to dance it to the fullest, capturing the coolness of Afro-Latin, and use it in salsa venues! 🔥

② Salsa Social Dancing Tips "How to dance with Son"

This episode is a must-see for salsa social lovers! We'll teach you the secrets to dancing salsa social in a cool way!

The theme of this episode is to learn variations and musical knowledge so you can choose a dance style that best matches the salsa music and dance in a way that suits the song!

Did you know that even songs classified as salsa actually contain a variety of genres? Today's theme is "Son." Known as the mother of salsa, Son is the ancestor of salsa and the genre that directly inspired salsa music. It's a wonderful, tropical song with a Cuban vibe! Hidepeco is also a big fan of this genre.
